Early Childhood Educator Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team in providing exceptional early learning experiences for children aged 1-5 years.

As a casual educator, you will be required to be available 2-5 days per week, assisting the Room Leader in delivering an engaging, inquiry-based program inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach.

  • Maintain comprehensive and ongoing documentation of each child's development, using reflective practices to inform planning and individualised support.
  • Conduct observations, assessments, and plan for a small group of children, ensuring their holistic development.
  • Curate stimulating and developmentally appropriate indoor and outdoor learning environments that inspire curiosity and creativity.

Foster meaningful, respectful partnerships with families, providing regular updates and involving them in their child's learning journey.

Collaborate with the broader team to promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning culture, contributing to team planning and professional growth.

Ensure a safe and nurturing environment that meets regulatory requirements and high standards of care and safety.

Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of child-led and inquiry-based learning methodologies, with a commitment to the Reggio Emilia philosophy.
  • Experience in early childhood education, with a demonstrated passion for supporting young children's development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships with colleagues, children, and families.
Qualifications:
  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or actively working towards these qualifications.
  • Applicants will be required to be ACECQA approved.
  • Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) or the ability to obtain one.
