About the Opportunity

People2people is excited to partner with a highly regarded Non-Profit Organisation (NFP) seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join their procurement team. The organisation focuses on providing support, supervision, and accommodation for future generations in need.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to support the end-to-end procurement activities across the organisation. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for working closely with various suppliers, sourcing new opportunities, and identifying areas of improvement to achieve cost savings. You will have the scope to add value while still learning in the role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the end-to-end procurement activities, including supplier management and contract reviews
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Developing and implementing effective procurement strategies to meet business needs

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration
  • Experience in a procurement role, with demonstrated stakeholder liaison skills
  • Strong understanding of procurement standards and procedures
  • Tech-savviness, with proficiency in MS Office Suite and ERP systems (TechOne advantage)
  • A current QLD driver's license and willingness to obtain a Blue Card
