About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Procurement Specialist to join our client in Brisbane CBD. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing procurement expertise and valuable solutions for government and business.

This is a temporary contract up to 30 June 2025 with a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Flexible working arrangements, including work from home options, are available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate methods to ensure value for money in procurement, aiming for efficiencies and cost reductions that meet government needs.
  • Use evidence-based tools to analyse business data, such as strategic plans, to inform procurement strategy.
  • Identify risks to probity and audit requirements while managing market engagement and tender processes according to policy.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes and contract management.
  • Previous experience working within the public sector.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and strategic thinking.
