Senior Sales Leader Position

We are seeking an experienced leader to unite and elevate high-performing teams, steer national growth, and unlock new opportunities in heavy industry sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with key customers to enhance long-term business prospects
  • Monitor sales performance and pipeline across the sales group
  • Facilitate regular sales team meetings and ensure position clarity
  • Lead the development and execution of national sales plans across multiple product segments
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve financial targets for the Australasian market
  • Execute company-focused plans for strategic markets to ensure growth and profitability
  • Assess feedback and market intelligence to determine market development potential; define targets for customer groups and product ranges
  • Strengthen leadership capabilities of sales managers and sales resources
  • Meet financial objectives and contribute as part of the executive management team
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to sales managers and their teams
  • Engage with internal functions (sales, finance, operations, estimation, engineering) to meet customer service indicators
Qualifications & Experience
  • MBA or Bachelor's degree (Business) or a degree in Electrical Engineering desirable
  • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership position
  • Experience in the Australian mining, EPC, Tier 1 markets and adjacent sectors in heavy industry
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results
  • Knowledge of electrical products and applications
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to provide detailed reports
  • Strategic thinker with analytical skills
  • Advanced communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
