About the Role

We are seeking a proactive individual with a 'safety first' approach, strong communication skills, and great time management skills to fill the position of Railway Coordinator at Pacific National.

Your key responsibility will be to coordinate and oversee the daily, safe and efficient working of the railway across two Rail Yards at Port Kembla. You will be accountable for ensuring the safe and timely control of all rail vehicle movements and complying with all policies and standards at the Port Kembla depot.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee the daily safe and efficient working of the railway.
  • Work across a rotating 24/7 shift roster.
  • Permanent position at Port Kembla.

About You

You are a proactive individual with a 'safety first' approach, strong communication skills, and great time management skills. You are able to work autonomously or within a team and have:

  • High-level attention to detail.
  • Intermediate MS Office skills, particularly in Excel.
  • Proven experience in planning and coordination within rail, manufacturing, mining or heavy industry environments.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications in Train Control and Safe Working, as well as an understanding of Train Control Systems, are beneficial.
