Assembly and Fabrication Specialist

This role involves working on the fabrication and assembly of locomotive frames, structures, and pipe weld arrangements in a fast-paced production environment.

About this role:

  • Undertake general fabrication and workshop duties as required.

About you:

  • Australian recognised trade certificate and Certificate of Proficiency - Metal Trades.
  • Ability to Interpret Engineering drawings.
  • Dogging/Rigging tickets preferred.
  • Experience with GTAW to Ultrasonic quality.
  • TIG Welding exposure.
  • MPI Level 2 preferred and UT Level 2 preferred.
  • Ability to work to a fast-paced production schedule.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
