We provide corporate services and facilities to support judicial, quasi-judicial, and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal.
The Courts Group delivers on each jurisdiction's strategic priorities while pursuing interconnected opportunities that deliver benefits more broadly.
Victoria's Magistrates' Court determines over 300,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, aiming to be innovative, accessible, and responsive providing quality services to the community.
This role is part of the Specialist Courts and Court Support Services programs addressing pre-existing issues contributing to offending and anti-social behaviours, reducing re-offending.
About the Role
An exciting opportunity as a CISP Case Manager in Ballarat. Case Managers provide advanced case management support to people with complex needs including mental illness, cognitive impairment, substance issues, homelessness, family violence, and limited social supports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide holistic strengths-based collaborative case management to clients with complex needs.
- Engage clients through assessment and treatment planning to develop person-centred individual support plans.
- Possess knowledge of safe effective delivery of evidence-informed interventions ability to assess manage risks to clients others.
About You
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification (minimum Diploma level) or relevant experience.
- Relevant experience in case management practice with forensic clients.
- Demonstrated capacity in case management of clients presenting with complex needs well-developed knowledge in speciality areas such as mental health acquired brain injury disability alcohol substance use family violence or homelessness.
- Sound knowledge of evidenced informed practice models frameworks for working with clients with complex needs.
