About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Electrician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for carrying out breakdowns and preventative maintenance activities across our continuous production process.

  • Carrying out routine checks and maintenance on processing, packaging, cooling and heating systems to ensure they operate efficiently and effectively.
  • Identifying and troubleshooting faults with these systems, making recommendations for improvements and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
  • Carrying out project work and installations in a professional manner, including setting up new equipment and plant.
  • Implementing or completing preventative maintenance programs for processing, packaging, cooling and heating systems.
  • Assisting in monitoring and developing new schedules for equipment, plant and other relevant data.
  • Performing regular safety checks as instructed by management.
  • Investigating failures and making recommendations to reduce risk and improve systems/processes.
  • Undertaking general maintenance within a factory environment.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant trade qualification in electrical.
  • Experience working in a boiler room and/or refrigeration environment (desirable).
  • Previous experience ideally in the food, dairy, packaging or process-related industries.
  • Hold PLC qualifications and/or experience mainly Allen Bradley (Rockwell).
  • Pneumatic systems qualifications or experience.
