Job Title: Manufacturing Finance Specialist

">Key Responsibilities:
  • ">
  • Maintain cost accounting records with accuracy and compliance.">
  • Manage costs associated with production, materials, labor, and overhead.">
  • Analyze variances, costing of new products, and standard costs updates.">
  • Properly value inventory on the balance sheet including reserves establishment.">
  • Partner to drive efficiency within the organization.">
  • Monitor labor utilization and efficiency metrics.">
  • Review manufacturing department spend for reasonableness noting variances to budget.">
  • Present monthly site financial performance articulating key drivers, variances, and trends.">
  • Support ERP system implementation as needed with a focus on cost accounting and related reporting.">
  • Participate in physical inventory by overseeing counts, reviewing variances, and conducting audits.">
  • Manage the inventory cycle count program, identify opportunities for improved accuracy, and partner with operations to determine root cause of discrepancies.">
Requirements:
  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with an emphasis on manufacturing finance/cost accounting.">
  • Minimum 8+ years experience using standard costing in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing industry.">
  • Proven experience using advanced Excel functions for financial analyses, variance analysis, and cost simulations.">
  • Comfortable presenting complex financial metrics to non-Finance personnel.">
  • Strong knowledge of ERP system functionality preferably NetSuite or Oracle.">
  • Solid understanding of WMS and MRP systems.">
  • Ability to effectively communicate across different functions and levels of the Company, work independently, and obtain NV2 security clearance.">
