We're seeking a passionate and experienced professional to lead our Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) service.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the development and implementation of evidence-based harm reduction programs
- Provide strategic direction, guidance, supervision, and mentorship to AOD staff
- Oversee the delivery of key services, including outreach, education, health promotion, and support services within a harm minimisation framework
- Foster strong partnerships with the broader health and community sector
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including clients, community groups, and other organisations
- Ensure quality reporting, incident management, and risk oversight
- Monitor financial and operational performance against organisational requirements

About You

You'll have a deep understanding of harm reduction, co-occurring AOD and mental health issues, and experience managing incidents, building capability, and leading diverse teams. You'll also have sound knowledge of AOD sector trends, community-based health promotion, and service integration.

Requirements

- Relevant qualifications in AOD, community development, social work, health sciences, or related field
- Minimum 3 years' experience managing AOD programs or services
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- Current Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
