Job Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Day Surgery Ward as a casual staff member.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional patient care and be committed to working effectively within a team environment. They will have strong communication skills, the ability to work proactively and compassionately, and be committed to upholding the highest standards of clinical practice.

About the Role:

  • Provide outstanding patient care in the Day Surgery Unit, ensuring patients receive dignified and respectful treatment.
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Promote a welcoming and compassionate environment for patients and their families.
  • Demonstrate excellence in clinical practice, adhering to the highest standards of care.
  • Assist in managing patient flow and provide pre and post-operative care.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
  • Previous experience in perioperative nursing or a surgical/critical care environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
  • Commitment to patient care and alignment with our hospital's mission and values.
