Senior Lecturer Role: We are seeking a Senior Lecturer to join our team in Port Macquarie. This part-time position involves coordinating the Independent Learning Project (ILP) program, supporting rural research initiatives, and contributing to the academic education program at the campus.
About the Position:- Teach high-quality biomedical sciences, clinical medicine, and related health disciplines at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels.
- Convene courses, develop curriculum, and deliver educational programs that meet the needs of our students.
- Work closely with Local Health Districts and Primary and Rural Health Networks to advance research initiatives and ILP projects relevant to local area health issues.
- Deliver teaching and learning experiences that meet the highest standards.
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with academic goals.
- Coordinate the ILP program, supporting rural research initiatives, and contributing to the academic education program.
- A medical degree (BMedMD, MBBS or equivalent) with relevant professional expertise and eligibility for medical registration in NSW.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development in pedagogy, disciplinary knowledge, and professional accreditation requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching, course convening, and curriculum development at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels.
$125K - $155K per annum, plus superannuation and annual leave loading.
