Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Program Director to lead our St Brigid's Outside School Hours Care service based in Nerang.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Program Director. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the service, including staffing, administration, and financial management tasks.

You will oversee the delivery of a high-quality, inclusive, and educational program that provides children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the service including staffing, administration, and financial management tasks.
  • Oversee the delivery of a high-quality, inclusive, and educational program.
  • Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment.
  • Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
  • Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis.
  • A strong understanding of Childcare legislation including the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, and My Time Our Place.
  • Effective computer skills including experience with childcare management software (Xplor preferred).
  • Proven leadership and team development skills.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 depending on experience.
