About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Underground Production Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our underground operations and providing specialist advice on production performance indicators and metrics.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with underground crews and their leaders to develop and implement new ideas and build cross-team relationships.
  • Design and review drilling, blasting, and production plans.
  • Compile reports and provide expertise to other teams in analysis of production performance indicators and metrics.
  • Analyse equipment capability assumptions and identify functional capability gaps.
  • Prepare inputs to form operating standards, procedures, and work instructions.

Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in Mining, Civil, or Geotechnical Engineering (or a discipline aligning with this role).
  • Experience working in an underground, hard rock, metalliferous mine environment.
  • Underground practical experience, including a thorough understanding of the underground production cycle.
  • Proven experience in drill and blast design in sub-level open stoping preferred.
  • Previous experience in scheduling preferred but not essential.
