Dispute Resolution Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to become a key player in a top-tier law firm's Sydney office. You will work on high-value and strategically significant contract/commercial disputes and arbitrations, class action defence and resolution, royal commissions, investigations, and enforcement actions.

About the Role:
  • High value and strategically significant contract/commercial disputes and arbitrations.
  • Class action defence and resolution.
  • Royal Commissions and Parliamentary inquiries.
  • Investigations and enforcement actions by ASIC, APRA, AUSTRAC, ACCC, law enforcement and various corruption investigation bodies.
  • Globally significant test case litigation brought by the Australian Government.
  • Sensitive internal investigations for major corporate clients spanning fraud, corruption and misconduct allegations.
Requirements:
  • A strong background as a litigation lawyer with 3-6 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
  • Experience gained from a well-regarded firm, particularly general commercial litigation and/or regulatory litigation.
  • An excellent academic transcript.
  • An ability to confidently communicate with others across the firm and a pragmatic, friendly and down-to-earth approach.
  • A commitment to working in a high performing team.
