Job Opportunity:

This is a lone working role that requires quick learning, self-motivation, organisation, and excellent customer service skills.

The job involves visiting properties to work on smart meters in homes and businesses. You will use handheld devices to complete tasks and update records on tablets.

  • Reconnect gas and electric smart meters, change SIM cards, modems, and small gain aerials, and rejoin smart devices to the network.
  • Exchange batteries on gas meters and complete site surveys and other support tasks.

Good geographical knowledge of local areas is key, and experience with handheld tools and lifting equipment is important.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visiting properties throughout the day to work on smart meters in homes and businesses.
  • Using handheld devices to complete tasks and updating records on tablets.
