We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Team Member to join our team at Marriott International. As an Executive Chef Assistant, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food. You will also be responsible for washing and peeling fresh fruits and vegetables, weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients, and preparing and cooking food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
Key Responsibilities
- Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
- Food Safety: Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables, and ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food.
- Cooking: Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
- Food Service: Serve food in proper portions onto proper receptacles.
- Cleaning: Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
Requirements
- Experience: 3-4 years of experience in busy Cafe, Restaurant or Hotel.
- Skills: Good knowledge in HACCP and food safety, attention to detail, and passion in cooking.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
