About the Role

KBR is seeking a highly skilled Systems Safety Engineer to join our Land Domain team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our Defence capabilities and enablers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform system safety design aspects of platform-related tasks in accordance with planned schedules.
  • Review and develop safety cases for new and existing capability and configuration changes.
  • Communicate safety aspects and concerns to personnel of varying experience and professions.
  • Participate in engineering-related system reviews, progress reviews, and interface control working groups.
  • Provide engineering subject matter expertise as required.
  • Identify and report on resource constraints, schedule conflicts, and other detrimental factors.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Strong organisational, coordination, and analytical skills.
  • Strong client and staff engagement, relationship, and communications skills.
  • Active NV1 (or above) Defence Security Clearance.
