KBR is seeking a highly skilled Systems Safety Engineer to join our Land Domain team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our Defence capabilities and enablers.
Key Responsibilities- Perform system safety design aspects of platform-related tasks in accordance with planned schedules.
- Review and develop safety cases for new and existing capability and configuration changes.
- Communicate safety aspects and concerns to personnel of varying experience and professions.
- Participate in engineering-related system reviews, progress reviews, and interface control working groups.
- Provide engineering subject matter expertise as required.
- Identify and report on resource constraints, schedule conflicts, and other detrimental factors.
- Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or a related discipline.
- Strong organisational, coordination, and analytical skills.
- Strong client and staff engagement, relationship, and communications skills.
- Active NV1 (or above) Defence Security Clearance.
