Main Responsibilities:- Assist the kitchen manager with compliance, including food safety, WHS, and quality control.
- Maintain stock levels and order supplies as needed.
- Manage resident dietary requirements.
- Oversight of kitchen operations, ensuring efficient use of resources and high-quality meal production.
- Promote service excellence in all aspects of dining experiences.
- Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Provide guidance and leadership to kitchen staff, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- A qualification in commercial cookery (Cert III/IV) or relevant experience as a Cook/Chef.
- Aged care experience is advantageous but not necessary.
- Understanding of special dietary needs.
- Effective time management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a broader catering team to continually enhance the catering experience.
