The role of a department supervisor is pivotal in driving the success of a retail store. The supervisor's primary responsibility is to lead their team in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that every JD customer has an outstanding experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Model and promote a 'service over task' environment, prioritizing customer satisfaction above all else.
  • Support and guide team members to deliver exceptional service, fostering a positive and productive work atmosphere.
  • Develop and maintain product & brand knowledge for your department, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and offerings.
  • Collaborate with management to drive financial performance within your department, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance sales results.
  • Work closely with the back-of-house team to ensure product availability, maintaining efficient inventory management practices.
  • Adhere to company standards and strive for visual excellence, creating an inviting and engaging store environment.
What We're Looking For

We seek candidates who possess:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience within retail or a related industry.
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and fostering a culture of service excellence.
  • A proven track record of driving and exceeding set KPIs, with effective communication skills to engage with all stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize daily tasks and execute them efficiently.
