Job Title: Client Service Manager

This is a unique opportunity to combine underwriting and broking expertise in the Scottish insurance market.

As an Insurance Client Manager, you will oversee specialist insurance business via an established scheme while managing day-to-day insurance requirements for key clients.

You will be the primary point of contact between clients and insurers, ensuring seamless communication and efficient transaction processing.

The insurance broking group has a substantial book of business across Scotland, with a team of experts based in their centrally located offices.

  • Reviewing and underwriting within delegated authority on an exclusive scheme
  • Re-brokering client requirements to the open market when necessary
  • Responding to incoming enquiries from clients, agents, and account executives
  • Ensuring compliance and transparency in all transactions
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with insurers and clients
  • Assisting in creating comprehensive client and broking documents
  • Helping plan suitable insurance programs for clients' needs
  • Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures

Previous experience in underwriting or insurance broking is essential, with a passion for the rural industry being beneficial. Ideally, you will work three days per week in the Perthshire offices.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Underwriting and Reviewing: Review and underwrite within delegated authority on an exclusive scheme.
  2. Broking and Re-Broking: Re-broker client requirements to the open market when necessary.
  3. Client Communication: Respond to incoming enquiries from clients, agents, and account executives.
  4. Compliance and Transparency: Ensure compliance and transparency in all transactions.
  5. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurers and clients.
  6. Document Creation: Assist in creating comprehensive client and broking documents.
  7. Insurance Program Planning: Help plan suitable insurance programs for clients' needs.
  8. Policies and Procedures: Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
