Senior Facilitation Specialist

Support the Waitangi Tribunal as a Senior Facilitator, providing expert advice on inquiry design and facilitation. Collaborate with commissions of inquiry, courts, or tribunals to shape inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with Tribunal inquiry panels to scope and shape inquiries.
- Guide and mentor Researcher/Analyst facilitation team members.
- Build and maintain relationships with judiciary, Tribunal members, and colleagues across the Waitangi Tribunal Unit.
To be successful, you will need:
- Experience in a commission of inquiry, court, or tribunal setting.
- Understanding of public policy process and machinery of government.
- Tertiary qualification in public policy, Māori studies, law, or a relevant discipline.
- Clear understanding and commitment to the work of the Waitangi Tribunal.
- Knowledge of te reo Māori, tikanga, and mātauranga Māori an advantage.
