Temporary Payroll Officer
Our organisation seeks an accomplished Payroll Specialist to manage payroll, maintain accurate leave records and ensure compliance with employment laws.
The Position:
This role involves processing employee salaries, wages and benefits in accordance with company policies and relevant legislation. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining up-to-date leave records, ensuring accurate reporting of superannuation, WorkCover and payroll tax requirements and providing expert interpretation of awards and enterprise agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date leave records for all employees.
- Manage superannuation, WorkCover and payroll tax requirements for employees.
- Provide expert interpretation of awards and enterprise agreements.
- Respond promptly and professionally to incoming payroll queries from employees.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of processes to improve efficiency and productivity within the Payroll Team.
