The Role

We are seeking a Permanent Part-Time Enrolled Nurse who shares our passion for delivering exceptional person-centered care, to join our home care team in the beautiful region. You must be dedicated to working and understanding the residential aged care environment and standards. We have a range of shifts available and a culture of high-level empathy and compassion for our residents.

  • Reporting to the Registered Nurse, you will lead the care team.
  • Coordinate care in an allocated section of home and ensure care plan compliance throughout the shift.
  • Advise and allocate care staff.
  • Recognize and escalate deteriorating resident situations.
  • Provide safe, high-quality care in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Promote a positive resident experience through a resident-first approach.
  • Provision of daily living care to residents.
  • Maintain accurate documentation as per organisational standards.
Requirements
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse is mandatory.
  • One year of experience as an Enrolled Nurse in a residential aged care setting is desirable (new entrants will be considered).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Hold NDIS Worker Checks (or willing to obtain).
  • Be passionate about delivering a person-centered approach to care.
