About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trainer to join our team at Acknowledge Education. As a Trainer, you will be responsible for the development, improvement, and delivery of civil construction units for both Diploma and Advanced Diploma programs.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality training that meets the VET Quality and Higher Education Standards Frameworks.
  • Maintaining accurate records of student attendance and progress.
  • Ensuring effective learning outcomes by monitoring classroom performance and providing feedback.
  • Staying current with industry standards and maintaining up-to-date qualifications through professional development opportunities.
  • Complying with the Code of Conduct and reporting incidents, managing OH&S matters, and contributing to meetings and other relevant activities.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Education and a Bachelor's degree in the civil/construction field as a minimum qualification. You should have at least 2 years of experience in the civil construction industry and be able to understand and support students' diverse needs and learning paces.

You should also have experience working with international students in the delivery and assessment of vocational education and training, as well as proficiency in the use of learning management systems (Moodle) and Microsoft Office applications.
