Job Title: Computer Assistant">

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Computer Assistant to join our dynamic team in a high-achieving secondary school located in the scenic Gold Coast hinterland.

  • Undertake regular maintenance and routine repairs of all computers and associated equipment throughout the school. This includes ensuring measures are implemented for the correct operation of equipment and monitoring the safety of your working environment.
  • Assist in the installation of new equipment and software, providing technical input and supporting networking computers and associated equipment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of procedures and guidelines for the correct and safe operation of computing equipment.

The successful candidate will possess excellent technical expertise and be able to provide exceptional support to staff and students in a collaborative and innovative learning environment.

This is a permanent part-time position (0.95FTE), with 72.50 hours worked per fortnight.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Regularly checking and troubleshooting computer systems to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Providing assistance with the installation of new hardware and software, including configuring devices for optimal performance.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement best practices for managing technology resources within the school community.
