Disability Support Worker

Cocoon Group Services is a dynamic and innovative organisation seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team in Flemington. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with high complex needs in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) or Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with high complex needs, promoting their independence and autonomy.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
- Develop and implement individualised support plans, ensuring the needs and goals of each participant are met.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support, or equivalent.
- First Aid, CPR, Manual Handling, and Medication Administration training or willingness to obtain.
- Current Driver's License (mandatory).
- NDIS Worker Screening check and Working with Children Check.
