The Royal Children's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Specialist Family Violence Advisor to join our Mental Health program. This is a Permanent Part Time position, working hours per fortnight.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expertise and support to mental health clinicians to identify and respond to family violence in the lives of service users.
- Build family violence capability and capacity, supporting collaboration and providing secondary consultation.
- Support the implementation of the Family Violence Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management (MARAM) framework.
- A tertiary qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- Current Registration as an Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, or Registered Nurse with the applicable Health Practitioner Board, or a qualified Social Worker or Speech Pathologist.
- An understanding of relevant legislation and practice frameworks relating to family violence practice.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in leadership, partnership, and collaboration.
