We are seeking a Sales Support Specialist to play an integral part in the efficient functioning of our Wholesale & Sales teams.

About the Role

This role involves providing administrative support, gaining valuable knowledge and insight into the Electrical industry, whilst producing and updating reports for the Sales team, maintaining and coordinating marketing inventory, assisting in sales functions, meetings and conferences as required, ensuring databases are updated regularly and performing various other tasks for effective operation of the Sales function.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Producing reports for the Sales team and updating them regularly
  • Maintaining and coordinating marketing inventory to ensure its efficient use
  • Assisting in the planning, organisation and execution of sales functions, meetings and conferences as required
  • Ensuring customer contact details are up-to-date in the database
  • Assisting with travel coordination as required for the sales team
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years administration experience (preferably working within an office environment)
  • Experience working with multiple departments and external stakeholders
  • IT savvy, with a good knowledge of the Microsoft Suite (particularly Excel)
  • Excellent level of communication skills, both written & verbal
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with a range of different people & personalities
  • Demonstrated drive and initiative, with a proactive approach to work
  • Personal style with a 'positive' attitude
