Seeking experienced Poly and Extrusion Welders for major projects in the Northern suburbs of South Australia.

  • Casual position with opportunities for overtime
  • Monday to Friday with possible Saturday work

About The Role

This is a unique opportunity to work in a well-equipped workshop, preparing and welding poly pipe components for major construction projects in South Australia.

You will be working with a team that values safety, reliability, and quality output.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Welding polyethylene (PE) pipes using techniques like butt welding and electrofusion welding in the workshop and on site
  2. Heavy poly pipe manufacture
  3. Reading and understanding plans and drawings
  4. Manufacturing to specifications
  5. Ensuring all work complies with supplied drawings, schedules, guidelines, and criteria
  6. Adhering to planned work and maintaining required quality output

The successful applicant will have opportunities for skills enhancement and professional growth.

Requirements:

  1. Current driver's license
  2. Strong knowledge of poly welding - certificate required
  3. White Card
  4. Ability to follow CAD plans
  5. Proven experience as a poly welder (workshop or site-based)
  6. Strong attention to detail
  7. Demonstrated skills in working within a collaborative, highly skilled environment
  8. Good communication skills, both oral and written
  9. Additional tickets (e.g., Forklift, Overhead Crane) are a bonus
