Job Overview

WorkPac requires multiple skilled Poly and Extrusion Welders for major projects in the Northern suburbs of Adelaide.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and welding poly pipe components for construction projects in South Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welding polyethylene (PE) pipes using techniques like butt welding and electrofusion welding in the workshop and on site
  • Heavy poly pipe manufacture
  • Reading and understanding plans and drawings
  • Manufacturing to specifications
  • Ensuring all work complies with supplied drawings, schedules, guidelines, and criteria
  • Adhering to planned work and maintaining required quality output

The successful applicants will work Monday to Friday with opportunities for overtime and possible Saturday work.

Requirements
  • Current driver's license
  • Strong knowledge of poly welding - certificate required
  • White Card
  • Ability to follow CAD plans
  • Proven experience as a poly welder (workshop or site-based)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated skills in working within a collaborative, highly skilled environment
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written
  • Additional tickets (e.g., Forklift, Overhead Crane) are a bonus
