Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Disability Home Nursing Care. In this critical role, you will play a vital part in supporting the well-being of our patients.
About the Role:As a Psychologist with our organization, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating patients and gathering their history to diagnose issues that require attention.
- Developing treatment plans to ensure the health and success of your patients.
- Interviewing patients and performing diagnostic tests to gain a deeper understanding of their mental health concerns.
Your goal will be to provide individualized treatment options for people to better understand themselves while helping others identify ways to change their behaviors and alleviate problems in their lives.
Key Responsibilities:- Utilize knowledge of psychological theory and practice to address clients' mental health concerns.
- Help clients adjust their behaviors and develop coping strategies.
- Employ superior communication skills to uncover complex mental health issues.
- Empathize with a diverse range of individuals and focus on their needs.
- Develop and recommend treatment plans based on patient needs and diagnosis.
- Provide referrals when necessary for additional care, evaluation, or treatment.
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- Experience working as a Psychologist or in a related field.
- The ability to pass a thorough background check.
- Strong working knowledge of diagnostic techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A doctoral degree from an accredited program in clinical or counseling psychology.
