Job Title: Serving Associate

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Serving Associate to provide exceptional service to our guests in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of our F&B team, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding dining experiences that exceed guest expectations.

Critical Responsibilities:

  • Ensure efficient and friendly service is provided to all guests at all times
  • Welcome and serve our guests with a warm smile
  • Be an expert on the hotel's facilities, amenities, and services to ensure our guests receive a seamless experience
  • Meet and connect with our guests, anticipating their needs and preferences
  • Assist all guests with menu selections, dietary requirements, and recommendations
  • Ensure accuracy with requests, orders, and service delivery
  • Use of point-of-sale system
  • Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Promote a safe and supportive work environment, encouraging open communication and teamwork

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or hotel environment
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol Competency Card (RSA) certification
  • Positive attitude, with a strong focus on providing excellent customer service
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Barista skills and knowledge of beverages are highly desirable
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
