About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pool, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Coach and develop leaders to deliver on key performance indicators (KPIs) through engagement, performance planning, and individual development plans.
  • Culture and Engagement: Lead and drive a high-performance community-minded culture through highly visible and hands-on leadership and team engagement.
  • Financial Management: Achieve budgeted performance targets and maintain a high-value relationship with local stakeholders.
  • Customer Service: Implement a high-value customer service proposition that addresses the needs of the client base.
  • Recruitment and Talent Management: Recruit energetic, diverse, and passionate employees as required to complement the team and the vision for the Centre.
About You

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced leader who is passionate about leisure and wants to utilize their skills and experience in the leisure industry. You will be a up-and-coming leader who drives with vision and energy, and is able to share insights into how you have successfully shaped high-performance teams into business actions.

You will have a strong background in managing or leading in a similar leisure or aquatic facility, with highly developed communication skills and a flair for positive influencing and negotiating win-win outcomes. You will also have a sound knowledge of health and safety legislation and experience in planning and execution of operational, financial, and people plans to successful outcomes.
