Geotechnical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in understanding ground conditions and delivering high-quality solutions that support a range of exciting infrastructure projects.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented engineer to contribute to the success of our projects. You will be responsible for communicating with clients and project engineers to understand and define project requirements, planning, specifying, and managing site investigations and laboratory testing programs, developing site safety management plans, and ensuring compliance during investigation works.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate with clients and project engineers to understand and define project requirements
  • Plan, specify, and manage site investigations and laboratory testing programs
  • Develop site safety management plans and ensure compliance during investigation works
  • Analyse field and laboratory data to provide accurate geotechnical analyses
  • Prepare detailed geotechnical reports and contribute to the development of client relationships
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognised tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering and eligibility for Chartership with Engineers Australia (or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering design and industry-standard software such as LPile, Plaxis, and AutoCAD
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in geotechnical design and construction, with a focus on large infrastructure or buildings projects
  • Excellent planning, organisation, and communication skills, with the ability to deliver solutions under limited supervision
  • A proactive and client-focused attitude, with the ability to foster positive relationships and support team development
