Aged Care Nurse Leader

At Aged Care GP, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse in Charge to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and professional Registered Nurse to take charge of their career and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. As an After-hours supervisor, you will lead and supervise the care team, providing direct nursing care to residents and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise the care team, delegating tasks, providing support and guidance, and monitoring performance
- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medication, wound care, and other clinical interventions
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment for the nursing team
- Current AHPRA registration
- Previous Aged care experience
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse working as an After-hours supervisor
- Availability and reliability to commit to permanent shifts
- Ability to communicate and build rapport with residents, families, and team members
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge, including medication management, wound care, and other nursing interventions
- Commitment to providing high-quality, person-centered care and promoting the wellbeing of our residents
We offer a competitive salary package, estimated to be around $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a range of benefits, including:
