Business Intelligence Developer

Key responsibilities of the Cognos/BI Administrator role include:

  • Managing and maintaining the Cognos environment, including data model cubes, dimensional structures, and integration with external system analytical models within TM1.
  • Providing coaching and support to stakeholders on the use and implementation of Cognos solutions.
  • Performing server configuration and security tasks, such as setting up permissions for users and managing capabilities for license types.
  • Developing and implementing business models using TM1 architecture, TM1 Perspectives, Turbo Integrator processes, and rules.

Requirements for success in this role include:

  • Experience providing technical advice and support in IBM Cognos TM1 environments.
  • Knowledge of accounting and finance principles and practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a customer-focused orientation.

Preferred qualifications include Australian work authorization and relocation to Melbourne VIC prior to starting work. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with configuration, support, and development of TM1 back-end systems.
