Job Description

This role involves working as part of a dedicated team to provide support services to individuals with disabilities. Your responsibilities will include assisting with personal care, community access, social support, meal preparation, and general domestic tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • You will require manual handling skills and experience working with hoists.
  • A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • You should have knowledge and experience working with individuals who have Parkinson's Disease, Centre Cord Syndrome, and Stroke.
  • Experience in managing challenging behaviors is also essential.
Essential Requirements
  • A valid First Aid and CPR certificate.
  • An NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • A Manual Handling certificate.
  • A Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  • A valid Driver's License and comprehensive car insurance.
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an individual who possesses a professional approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. You should be able to multi-task, work flexibly, and prioritize activities efficiently. Experience in case management and GP management plans is highly desirable.

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
