About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Support Professional to join our team. As a Disability Support Worker, you will be part of a dedicated team that makes a significant impact in the lives of our clients. Your role will involve providing personalized support, promoting independence, and empowering individuals to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Community Access: Accompany clients on outings, provide transportation, and assist with social activities.
  • Social Support: Engage clients in conversation, provide emotional support, and help them build relationships.
  • Meal Preparation and Medication Assistance: Prepare meals, administer medication, and ensure clients' dietary needs are met.
  • General Domestic Tasks: Assist with household chores, cleaning, and laundry.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or Equivalent: Hold a certificate in individual support or have equivalent experience and qualifications.
  • Manual Handling and Hoist Training: Possess manual handling and hoist training certification.
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate: Hold a current first aid and CPR certificate.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check: Meet the requirements for an NDIS worker screening check.
  • Valid Driver's License and Comprehensive Car Insurance: Hold a valid driver's license and comprehensive car insurance.
