A Brief Overview of the Role

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Food Service Associate to join our pre-opening team at The Star Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless operation of our Food & Beverage outlets both front and back of house.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage the use and storage of chemicals at all times
  • Manage waste materials ensuring recycling is adhered to
  • Maintain and operate operational equipment including dishwasher, utensils and glassware
  • Assist in set up and preparation for events and banquets
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Can-do team attitude with a focus on upholding The Star values
  • Sound knowledge of or ability to learn food safety regulations
  • Flexible availability to work on a rotating roster that can include early mornings and overnight shifts
  • Self-motivation and flexibility to work individually and as a team as required
  • Ability to focus and prioritise several tasks

Estimated Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
