About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Property Manager to join our team at Metcash. This exciting role involves proactively managing a diverse portfolio of head leases and subleases across industrial, retail, and commercial sites in Western Australia, South Australia, the Northern Territory, and Victoria.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations, including timely payments, critical dates, and rent reviews.
  • Optimize net income performance by implementing effective cost management strategies.
  • Manage lease renewals and market rent reviews to secure optimal terms for Metcash.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, leveraging existing networking contacts to drive business growth.
  • Identify and communicate competitive market activity to relevant steering committees.
You're Likely a Match If:
  • You have a minimum of 5 years' experience in property management, preferably in commercial, industrial, or retail leases.
  • You possess excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills, with a strong ability to negotiate and influence.
  • You have a deep understanding of general lease interpretation and commercial acumen.
  • You are results-driven, with a focus on delivering exceptional outcomes and value to Metcash.
  • You hold qualifications in property, estate management, or a related discipline, and have knowledge of the Retail Leases Act.
