About the Role

TasWater CDO is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to provide expert guidance on HSE legislation, policies, and regulations. The successful candidate will monitor and interpret relevant laws to ensure projects meet statutory and corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess safety in design requirements and provide input for constructability reviews.
  • Facilitate risk workshops to plan work in accordance with the project schedule.
  • Ensure UGL's HSE objectives and goals are set and attained at the project level.
  • Support the HSE Manager to execute the Project Audit program.

Requirements

  • Diploma level or Tertiary Qualifications (Desirable), or Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety + trade background.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a HSE Advisor in a high-risk industry.
  • Experience working in the capacity of Principal Contractor (Desirable).
  • ICAM Incident Investigation trained and experience in leading investigations.
  • Working knowledge of ISO450001 or AS 4801.
  • Strong communication skills.
