Are you our next rising star?

We are seeking a Property Sommelier to elevate our wine offerings at Echo Entertainment Group.

As a premier destination for entertainment and leisure, we are dedicated to providing exceptional experiences. The Property Sommelier will play a crucial role in enhancing our wine program, working closely with the Director of Food and Beverage.

In this position, you will lead and mentor our food and beverage team, ensuring excellence in wine selection and service. Your expertise will guide guests through an exquisite journey of wine pairings that enhance their dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

· Collaborate with Restaurant Managers and Head Chefs to create harmonious wine and food pairings
· Develop and curate an exceptional wine menu that enhances guest satisfaction
· Establish strategic partnerships with vendors to curate diverse wine lists across various outlets
· Design and implement wine education initiatives to elevate product knowledge and drive sales
· Coordinate with beverage suppliers to ensure optimal storage and cellar management

Qualifications

· Extensive knowledge of wines and experience in supplier relations
· Court of Sommeliers accreditation is highly regarded
· Proven ability to foster productive relationships
· Certificate IV in Hospitality is desirable
· Accreditation in Responsible Service of Alcohol
· Membership in the Australian Sommelier Association

You will be the key architect of memorable guest experiences, leveraging your extensive background in premium venues. Your ability to cultivate long-lasting relationships and introduce innovative ideas will be essential in this role. You will excel in building connections both within your team and with external suppliers, crafting wine lists that are not only imaginative but also commercially viable.
Your contributions will be vital in shaping the success of our food and beverage operations.
