Requirements
• Extensive knowledge of wine and experience in the hospitality industry
• Court of Sommeliers accreditation is highly regarded
• Demonstrated ability to develop productive relationships and drive business growth
• Cert IV in Hospitality is highly desirable
• Accreditation of Responsible Service of Alcohol
• Membership of Australian Sommelier Association
About the Role
As the Property Sommelier, you will be the orchestrator of memorable guest experiences across The Star Brisbane's food and beverage outlets. You will come with a wealth of prior knowledge in a similar role within premium venues. Developing long-lasting relationships and driving new ideas will be embedded in your ways of working. You will have the ability to build relationships both internally with your team, and externally with suppliers, to build wine lists across multiple venues that are not only creative but have been built with commercial sensibility. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our food and beverage operations at The Star Brisbane. Join us in making a difference.
