About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at the Whitlam Leisure Centre in Liverpool, NSW. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the facility, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the facility is maintained to a high standard, including pool plant systems and customer service areas
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Act as the acting authority of the Centre Manager when dealing with incidents or emergency responses
  • Collaborate with the operations team to achieve business objectives and improve customer satisfaction
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
Requirements
  • Strong leadership experience with an ability to inspire and motivate others
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patrons and staff
  • Understanding of OHS and public safety applications within a leisure facility
  • Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends, including a variety of shifts
  • Current First Aid (Level 2) and Current CPR Certificate
  • National Police Check
  • Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
  • Current Pool Operations Certificate is desirable
