Motel Manager

The **El Toro Hotel** is located in Liverpool, South West Sydney. We are currently seeking an experienced Motel Manager on a casual basis to join our team. You must take pride in your work and be willing to go that "extra mile" to make our guest's stay an enjoyable one. This is a integral role that requires an energetic and enthusiastic person who is ready and willing to work as part of a team.

**About the role**:
**As our Motel Manager, your responsibilities will include**:

- Coordinate all Housekeepers work activities on a shift-to-shift basis, ensuring all department procedures are followed and daily tasks are completed according to the company standard.
- Assist in the preparation of Team Member rosters, ensuring that optimum staffing is achieved within budgetary guidelines.
- Report all maintenance issues
- Arrange daily linen checks
- To arrange Housekeeping inventory, including chemicals, amenities and supplies.
- Ensure that the trolleys are packed appropriately by the Room Attendants at the end of the day to enable a smooth operation for the following day.
- React professionally and in a timely manner to all guest complaints.
- Coordinate check ins/outs on a daily basis via our RMS software
- Handling and recieving phone calls and enquiries not only for the motel but also the hotel's restaurant.
- Other duties as generally required for a motel manager position

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Experience in hotel/motel management desirable
- Ability to work unsupervised independently and manage time effectively
- Good communication skills

**Salary**: $34.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
