About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team as a Secondary Teacher – Inclusion. As a key member of our school community, you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse needs and abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure equitable access to learning by collaborating with colleagues and developing strategies to support student success.
  • Develop and implement Personal Learning Plans (PLPs) that cater to individual student needs.
  • Provide regular check-ins, flexible timetables, and social skills programs to support student well-being.
  • Coordinate external agencies as needed to ensure comprehensive student support.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to implement NASOT pedagogy and develop curriculum-aligned lesson plans.
  • Facilitate work experience and excursions to promote career pathways and student engagement.
Requirements
  • Set and document student goals in collaboration with parents, teachers, and students.
  • Secure approval for Individualised Curriculum Plans (ICP) and Quality Control and Improvement Action (QCIA) recommendations.
  • Maintain NCCD evidence in One School.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, Guidance Officers, Heads of Year, and aides on student needs.
