Job Description

The Finance Payroll Officer will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining employee records, and supporting finance operations.

- Process fortnightly payroll and maintain accurate employee records
- Manage payroll system updates, including new starters, terminations, and changes
- Conduct end-of-month payroll reporting and reconciliations
- Interpret and apply relevant legislation
- Liaise with HR, Finance, and external salary packaging providers
- Process invoices and client reimbursements through internal systems
- Maintain payroll policies, procedures, and confidentiality

The Successful Applicant

- Strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience with payroll systems
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage competing priorities
