Strategic Cancer Centre Director

Oversight of a portfolio of cancer centres drives operational excellence and strategic growth across Queensland.
Reporting to the State Manager, leading operations to ensure high-quality patient-centred care while achieving financial and performance targets.
Key leadership role with scope to influence innovation and service development across the state.
- Leadership & Culture:
- Inspire and guide multidisciplinary teams across designated cancer centres.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Support the State Manager in delivering strategic outcomes and maintaining strong site engagement.
- Operational & Financial Management:
- Oversee financial performance, including P&L management, KPI delivery and budget alignment.
- Ensure operational compliance and drive efficiency across services.
- Contribute to strategic planning and project execution.
- Business Development & Growth:
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with medical professionals and stakeholders.
- Lead business development initiatives and strategic partnerships to support service expansion and innovation.
- Quality & Service Excellence:
- Champion patient-centred care and uphold regulatory standards.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and operational enhancements.
- Project Leadership:
- Manage key development projects aligned with strategic goals.
- Identify and implement opportunities for growth and service innovation.
