Backend Developer Role

We are looking for a seasoned software engineer to join our team as a Backend Developer.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, developing and maintaining scalable microservices, applications and APIs.
  • Proficiency in cloud-native technologies such as C# / .NET Core, containerised workloads (e.g. Docker), in-memory databases (e.g. Redis), message queues (e.g. RabbitMQ) and related technologies is essential.

In this role, you will collaborate with other developers and architects to identify and evaluate technology and process improvements to improve quality and commercial outcomes.

About the Role
  • You will be responsible for conceiving and creating a coordinated suite of cutting-edge microservices, applications and APIs to equip our end-users with the technology they need to achieve community outcomes.
  • This will involve designing, developing, maintaining and testing coding/automation activities to implement microservices, applications and APIs compliant with an approved technical reference architecture.
About You
  • You'll have tertiary-level qualifications in Software Engineering, Information Technology or Computer Science, but your professional experience is what is most important and how your skills can complement our team.
  • Experience with working in a software-as-a-service environment that utilises DevOps and SRE practices to continuously develop, test, deploy and support scalable, highly available software services is required.
